The future for Tate South Library – discussion on 8 August

Lambeth Council has now agreed budgets for all libraries, but is aiming to cut funding by April 2014.  Friends of Tate South Lambeth Library, with support from Stockwell Partnership and Lambeth Council, invite  members of the local community  to bring ideas, views, proposals on how the Tate South Lambeth library budget could be spent while facing this cut in funding.

“Some changes are inevitable but funds should be spent on what local people most need and want.  New activities would be welcomed.  We could expand community use of the library as well as bring in additional income.”
