About forty people turned up a couple of Saturdays ago to help clean up the area around the church and the Tradescant sculpture.

The transformation is dramatic.  The flowerbed round the sculpture has been cleared and its base has been scrubbed clean. The surrounding beds have also been cleared, completely filling a skip with what’s come out of them.
