Summer’s fast approaching – and so too is the Albert Square Summer Fair on Saturday 6 June 3pm-6pm with music afterwards.

Last year’s fair was a real success, and we want to make this year’s just as enjoyable.  Can you help to make it a fun day?

We are still looking for helpers for:

•    Displaying publicity boards outside your house – kindly donated by Winkworths
•    Volunteers on the day – for the gate, setting up and clearing up
•    Helpers to organise the sports and games
•    Volunteers to run a toy stall, bric-a-brac or offers of other stalls
•    Donations of cakes, bottles for the bottle stall or raffle prizes
•    Loan of gazebos and trestle tables for stalls
•    Offers of musicians to play during the evening picnic

If you can help with any of these – or want to propose further activities – and also nominate local good causes who we can support through our fundraising,  please contact:

The annual general meeting of the Albert Square and St Stephen’s Association takes place soon – and all residents of Albert Square, Wilkinson Street and Aldebert and St Stephen’s terraces are invited along to have your say about what’s happening in the area, elect a new committee and decide on the issues for the coming year.
